Italian-made 9m Beretta mag does not fit beretta

This is incredible... I bought an original 15 round PB 9mm beretta magazine (made in Italy), and it didn't fit my beretta 92FS Police Edition made in the USA.

Does the Italian mag fit only italian-made beretta?

The hole cut for mag release is much higher on the italian mag.

I am very very pissed off and at the same time perplexed...

help?

There's no difference.

You've either got a defective magazine or one that's made for a different gun--I'm guessing the latter.

Beretta makes more than one 9mm pistol, did you check to see which pistol the magazine was made for?

Perhaps you actually have a Cougar magazine. They were also 15 rounds.

I think you are right... it might have been a non-92FS mag but why did the seller tell me it is a beretta 92FS mag!

I felt cheated... only 20 bucks but I was pissed.

The seller saw PB Cal 9mm and automatically thought 92?
Or he was sold that same bill of goods and was just passing it on?
Honest mistake?
