I bought one of the Norinco Ithaca 37 clones as a cheap truck gun. Seems to work fine and no problems so far. I noticed that this particular clone has twin action bars, and I think the genuine Ithaca has a single bar (is that correct?).

So it's not a true copy, I would suppose. Are the twin bars any more superior to the single bar?

The twin bars should help to minimize binding if the fore-end is turned while the action is being worked. That's why most shotgun companies went to two bars in the first place.
