Hey people, I am looking for some information on my shotgun. I got this in my pre-driving days---- sooooo it was a long time ago. I have a Ithaca lighting semi-auto 12ga --on the right side of the barrel it says "custom crafted for Ithaca by SKB". The receiver has what looks like laser ingraving on it (allthough I am pretty sure its too old for that) one is a water scene with ducks taking off from some cattails, the other has pheasants flying with hills and some woods in the background. I dont want to get rid of it - just looking for some info on it and the current value. Thanks in advance.

I have a smilar gun....just doesnt say sbk on it.

Ithaca Model 37 featherlight. 20ga. very nice gun, a complicated action as it is dump and load from the bottom. But a gun most lefties will kick and fight for. Id say typcial going price is around 300 for a nice clean gun, very clean atleast. They were made in abundance. Check your serial number on Ithaca's website that will tell you alot of its history. Mine was a 1946 manufacture.

Not at all similar.
The model 37 is a pump manufactured by Ithaca for many years.
There was a wide variety of autos made for Ithaca by SKB in Japan in the 70's. I never saw one marked Lightning, though. Book value of the 300 and 900 series guns is $300 tops.
