ithaca md 87 12ga 3 " mag with extra barrel.

I bought this Ithaca 87 12ga three mag some time ago with exta three" mag barrel. one barrel is 28" with choke tubes and the other is a 26" imp choke, I fired it to make sure it worked(it will slam fire) and put it away. the other day I was talking to a shooting friend and we got around to talking shotguns and I mentioned I had this Ithaca that I didn,t use and he is interested in it, but I don,t know what,s a fair price for it. it is in ex used condition with no rust or pits with ex barrels.

I recently sold (last spring) my 87 and 37 ithicas to fund my citori cxs. for the two of them with chokes, extra barrels, like new condition. no scratches, dings or bluing wear they fetched 1200. so approx. 500 to 650 for yours is not out of line. fwiw bobn

I dont think your vintage should "slamfire"? My very old 16 ga did.

R 148. Ithaca Gun Co. Model 87 Deerslayer. Serial # MAG-870012207. 12 Ga. 3” pump action shotgun. 20” rifled barrel with an excellent bore. Rifle sights. The blue finish on the metal is in very good to excellent condition with some scratches and a few fine rust specks on the barrel and a couple of scuff marks on the receiver. The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in excellent condition with little if any wear. Original recoil pad is collapsed on the one side. Detachable sling swivels. Action works fine. Includes a Tasco 2.5X power scope in detachable mounts, a padded leather carrying strap, and the instructions. Sold For 400.00

This combo also includes a 25” rifled Deer Slayer barrel with rifle sights. Bore in this barrel is also excellent. The matte grey finish on the metal is in fair to good condition with some scratches on both barrels and on the receiver. The oil finished walnut stock and forearm are in very good condition with a few small dings and scratches. Original recoil pad. Action works fine. Sold For 300.00
