ithaca skb 900 help

a friend came over with his ithaca 900 RECOIL operated 12ga in pieces can someone please tell me the proper sequence in which the rings and spring goes back on the mag tube??

Spring first, brake shoe ( small ring) then brake ring ( larger ring) . The angled part of the shoe should fit against the the ring , if it will not cycle light loads you can reverse it but they say this is not the most desirable position. I have never had a problem with it set the first way for any load. The gun is to be run dry with no real oil or grease on it.
