Do you have a copy of your letter to your Rep? I would like to send a letter to my Rep and see what their response is also. Thanks

I went to a large gun show yesterday. it was 180 degrees different than last years Fall Gun Show.

Last year anyone that had ammo was sold out within a 1 1/2 hour after the doors open. People were lined up 5 deep around one large dealers table.

Yesterday lots of centerfire ammunition most sitting untouched. I compared prices a few tables and thought they were a little high. Very little 22 rimfire. One joker had some bricks at $75.00 sitting untouched and I had heard another joker whining to customer about how he was losing money selling his for $80.00 / brick.

Lot of black rifles sitting unsold at pre-banic pricing. Otherwise most dealers seemed to be having a good show. Good selections of rifles, shotguns and handguns. The ATM machine in the gun show office broke twice from issuing so much paper.

No guns for me but I scored on some grips, holster, bullets. My usual stuff I wait on gun shows to look for.

Here in my part of the Land of Oz the Banic is over. The local Cabelas and Gander Mountain are well stocked and running sales.

Good to hear. I can get pretty much anything I need at the moment, outside of 22, around here also. Well, powder is hit and miss.

The kids got me a Ruger 10/22 takedown for Christmas. Guess what? No ammo. My daughter's boyfreind gave me a box of cci minimags just because he felt bad for me. Did I mention crook county illinois sucks.

Ok....simple solution. Let's see an audit. If they're not above the law, let's audit them (using a 3rd party) and find out exactly what they have. Let's also audit the federal reserve and the irs too. It's the only fair way to show us exactly what is going on. Seems sensible to me.

Are you willing to pay for a 3rd party audit? I find a lot of people that call for audits and investigations are the same people that complain about excess spending.

The money spent on an audit would be nothing conpared to the waste we could stop. This is our money....we deserve to know.

Btw - "millions" is nothing compared to the amount we have invested in these corrupt organizations.

One man's waste is essential spending to another. Who decides? There are plenty of things Homeland Security spends money on that I think are stupid but they have been ordered to do so by Congress. Blame the people that set the mission not those that implement it.
