I got the base and rings (and flip up caps and ARD) from Liberty Optics, brand name Seekins Precision. not the cheapest brand to go with, but they look great and more importantly perform great. excellent product that holds the scope so well that I don't have to wonder if my zero is shifting or not. about two hundred rounds in and no change at all.
not to mention liberty optics has excellent customer service, i highly recommend them.

Glad to hear it shoots well. I only have a 100 yard range, but I'm averaging a .5" group or better with mine. I'd love to see how it does at longer distances.

nice gearhead. youll have to go find some place further to shoot. i'll warn you though, it gets addicting.
i've turned into a long distance nerd since the original post. days i cant get out i sit around running ballistics and making charts and such. really dorked out, but it's a lot of fun doing the math, running the numbers and then applying them. i'll go ahead and post my last 200 yarder so long as the thread is up. the flyer round was my fault, i pulled it. prvi partizan 168gr match, 10-15mph winds.
i'm usually submoa and always near my point of aim, but i'm definately still new, have a lot to learn and even more to practice. thanks for the help, compliments and interest!

I'm well past addicted... I already go out at least once a week and spend a half a day shooting. Been doing that for many years now.
I'm looking for longer places, was going to join a private club but have heard from many ex-members about ridiculous rules and horrible management/members so I am re-considering. Unfortunately they have the only longer range in my area. I'm starting to think that I'm going to have to open a new range myself.
