I like when people think they are cool by making a smart@ss remark to Police officers (I'm being sarcastic). Even if it's shall issue, even if there is no way you can get in trouble, be denied, etc etc why press your (speaking generally, no one in particular) luck? I mean seriously, it's just asking for trouble. Personally, I am always courteous when talking with a police officer. It just makes things go more smoothly, I'm sure makes the officer feel better as opposed to him dealing with someone that has a bad attitude, etc. I voted for (B), though personally I myself would also add, if asked, that I feel strongly about protecting myself and my family. Some people get too caught up in unconsciously acting as if police officers are some sort of mindless, souless, ticket generating machines. They're friggin people too. Not everyone of them, when asking you a question, is looking for you to justify your rights or your existence. They might simply be curious, making small talk, or whatever.

Because my left leg is 2 cm longer than the right and so I am lopsided and a .44 magnum on the left hip will balance me out and make me walk better as I wont list to the right.

Not all Cops are the same. However, keeping that in mind, cops are no different than most people. If you are nasty to them,it is probably not going to be a nice experience.I was probably the easiest guy to talk out of giving you a ticket. If you were non confrontational and addmitted that you were prob speeding etc, you got off with a verbal warning. However if you were a moron, I would give you enough rope to hang yourself. This worked whether you were male or female, old or young,or black or white.Don't get me wrong,if you blew a stop sign at 45 mph or were going 55 in a 30 mph,you prob got a ticket.

I'd choose "A". But I'd do it in a friendly way. And then drop it. He hasn't any right to ask, but there's no point in getting him riled up, either. Turn it aside with a bit of humor and let it go.
