I couldn't count how many times I've looked at Canik pistols. I liked a lot of things about them, mainly the trigger, the Walther-ness feel, and the price to name a few..but I've never actually owned one.
Then, last Monday it happened. I was browsing the few pre-owned handguns a local shop had and saw a used TP9 Elite SC. I asked to see it, and was told it was traded/sold as an unfired gun someone bought along with several others and was never actually fired.
A reasonable price later, I finally became a Canik owner.
The first time out, I was very impressed. The nicest trigger for the money - no question. My Q5 Match is pretty good, but it was more than 2x the price.
Accuracy was excellent, it really put a smile on my face at the end of the day. Ultimately, I'd rather have an all black version, but this will certainly do. I cannot reccomend Canik enough.
