Iver Johnson M1 carbine?

Hey y'all, had a question about the Iver Johnson M1 carbine.

I know M1 carbines run a very wide array of values and collectibility, I have a line on one but don't know what they're worth or if there are other issues with various makes.

So what should I know about this one?

The one I had in 1980 was problematic & had to be taken to a gunsmith to get it functional.
They were, when they worked, a shade better than the Universals, but not highly regarded.
I wouldn't pay too much for one today.

However if it says Dunellin NJ under the M1 it prolley is all USGI except for the machined receiver and trigger and front sight and stock. The early ones were exported for military contracts and are pretty nice IMHO.
