Buffalo Bore makes ammo for these little .38 S&W / .38 Colt New Police
B.Bore ammo is faster than regular loadings. Usually in most standard loadings by the big ammo makers have .38 S&W velocities in the lower 600ft/sec - 650ft/sec (146gr bullet; 136 ft-lb energy) realm and usually those numbers are for the .38 Long, not the shorter case.
