type holsters.appendix carry IWB without a belt
Without a belt, I wouldn't count on the holster staying put. Most good clips need the bottom ledge of a belt to keep the holster in place.JERRY wrote,
I want something with a strong spring clip that I know will keep the rig in place when the gun is drawn.
Is that a typo? Did you mean 1 1/2" wide gun belt?a good thick leather 2 1/2" wide gunbelt
that CB rig looks like it would put the clip right on your pants button.... seems like a lot of holster for this location as well.
anyone tried the CB appendix IWB and have pix of them wearing it?
Not practical or probable unless suspenders are an option !!
Maybe something like smart carry is an option for you.

High Noon's clip IWBs have one of the best clips in the business. Example: http://highnoonholsters.com/Product_Line/Bare_Necessity_Clip/bare_necessity_clip.html (They all use the same clip.) They are made of a spring steel that actually takes some effort to spread open and there is a reverse curvature on the bottom that will help it "bite" into your clothing. They work even better hooked under a belt.I want something with a strong spring clip that I know will keep the rig in place when the gun is drawn.
I have a an idea, if some guy want to wear a handgun with out a belt sooner or later they will figure out why people say use a belt.
