I have a kel-tec pf-9, it carries like a dream with the clip draw on it. however I keep finding myself concerned about having a loaded weapon pointed at my most prized possessions when there is nothing covering the trigger:uhoh:.

I've looked into getting one of the "vanguard" trigger guard holsters but no one makes one for a pf-9 not to mention it means I'd have to take my arma laser off of it if I was to get one.

I really would rather not get an iwb holster as one of the bennifits of this gun is how thin it is and I'd hate to ruin it by adding one to the equation but I'm running out of ideas.

please any advice you have on the matter is appreciated.

I hear your concern......... never heard any tales of problems with clip carry but i wouldnt take the chance myself what with pressure from waist band/shirt/belt ect in the area. Even though the trigger pull is long, there is no trigger face "safety" like the Glock; which i woujd never carry this way.
I rec a trigger covering holster.

I use the clip... but the pf-9 isn't my edc so when it's being carried I try to stay aware of it, the long heavy pull means I have to mess up horribly to have an accident (I carry at 3:30, appendix I might be more worried...).
bet an armalaser'd pf-9 would fit in one of those neoprene unce mike's or a highnoon fit for a slightly bigger gun w/o adding too much bulk.

i used the clip on my old pf-9 all the time, carried on my hip, its not gona go off if the trigger isnt pulled

I carry a PF-9 in either a very thin, suede IWB holster, or a Smart Carry inside the pants holster when I wear a very thin t-shirt or whenever IWB carry is difficult.

I use the factory clip on my P11 and a Clipdraw on my Kahr. I know how you feel, IWB holster for such a thin gun is counterproductive to the design. Probably just want to stick with the clip.

Here's an interesting fact I just found out yesterday. My Sig 220 .45 is the same width in the slide as my P11.

Here are 2 pictures of the holster I use for the PF-9. It works great, and adds almost nothing to the width, or weight.

The holster above looks nice. I carry a P11 at 3:30 (just behind the hip bone) with the clip and the key is to have a GOOD belt. I don't see what a holster could add in reality past my current setup, but it works for me - not for everyone. I have zero slippage, etc, issues.

I wouldn't personally carry appendix ever, anyway, not so much because of "during carry" issues, but because I would have to train extra hard not to point the bore at my junk when I draw, and that sounds like an anxiety-producing issue.
