Son just turned 21 and purchased first Autoloader from Israeli Weapons Industries (IWI). The .45 Jericho (AKA Baby Eagle) feels good in my hands despite side by side config for 10 rounds, but loading all 10 is a thumb buster. I used a little Molypaste on the magazine walls, but it may have adverse effects on the load mechanism. The manual does state that initially, loading all 10 will be difficult.

Any ideas on how to make it better?

I love the sights, even these old tired eyes were able to hit the 10 ring at the range.

It will get better after time. I have 2 EAA guns that were hard to load the last few rounds on when the mags were new. After a few hundred rounds, it has gotten noticably better. Just give it time and shoot it often.

Load the up and let them sit for a few days (weeks or months). They will become easier to load.

Try Hakan Pek or Esmerelda for grips, I'm not sure if they make any specifically for the Jericho, but it's a CZ platform pistol, so shoot them an email or phone call and ask if the .45 Jericho is compatible with any of the other CZ-type pistols. I bet they will be compatible with the Tangfolio grips, pretty sure Tangfolio even made the Jericho for IWI, at least at first.

If they aren't, I'm sure one of those two can either make a set that fit or point you in the direction of grips that do.

^ what he said. They look similar but the grip screw location is slightly different. Even the grips between the different calibers are different for some reason. The 9mm and .40 are slightly longer grips than that of the .45 version.

The only thing that will make it better is usage. Keep them fully loaded for a week or so, after some shooting it should loosen up. I suggest getting a universal mag loader to help keep your thumbs intact. I use a glock mag loader because it fits on almost all my magazines.
