There are some Chinese versions that came in under the wire chambered for .308. You see them on the forums and GunBroker occasionally.

Don't get me wrong. I think they are attractive rifles, and likely very reliable. But if it's .308, I'd rather have a FAL.

had a friend who just sold what I believe was an NDM-86 chambered in 308. All in all it was a very nice rifle...he had the original wood as well as the true SVD furniture.

I believe he sold it as a package for around 2500 but I can't be for certain.


I shot it, and as grimjaw stated...they are WONDERFUL eye-candy, but he had several issues with the firing pin...FAL's...at least the ones we have...just don't have problems...

Mind you...if I had the cash...I would love to have one.

What I want to know is if we can get there mags? Will they fit the Saigas? And finally...if not, are they easily adaptable to the Saigas?

Tiger rifles did come in about ten years ago in 7.62X54.
Century imported a batch with sporter stocks and another batch made it in with Dragunov type stocks.
They will bring up to $2000.00 on the market when offered now.
