i have a Henry 22 lever action rifle. the trigger pull is decent, but way to much creep. i took it apart last night. that was EASY! 
anyway, without disclosing (only for liability reasons) i will not divulge the exact way i did this. but i now have a CRISP trigger with no creep, and i still have the factory machined, hardened surfaces to hold the trigger with. as a plus, the epoxy is in a place where there will be no wear, and the trigger will hold the epoxy in place when cocked. if, for some weird reason, the epoxy does break off, it should fall out the bottom, and i will have the old, long pull trigger back. the only other way of doing this job would have been to grind (by hand) off the factory surfaces. and, i didnt want to take the chance of altering angles, or going to far, and having an unsafe weapon. i think this will work very well through the years.
