Japanese Gun Smiths

Hello, I've acquired a japanese matchlock, and am seeking information about japanese gunsmiths. I have received a couple of publications, both in japanese, which I'm not proficient in. Can anyone recommend a good text dealing with japanese gunsmiths? Thank you for your time.

You'll find lots of information in the Pre-Flintlock section. There's a member there (I don't remember his name) who has traveled to Japan several times and has a large collection of Japanese matchlocks. I'm sure he can point you in the right direction.
