Japanese Type 1 Question

I just picked up a Japanese Type 1, that is missing the floorplate, spring and follower. Numerich is sold out of the floorplate.

I know this is italian made. But will a type 99 or 38 floorplate and follower work?

Or does anyone know a different source of parts?

Psst Spiggs.... The tipo 1 has a mauser style internal box mag... Not the Mannlicher style of "real" Carcanos.

I was reading in the shotgun news article on the gun. That the stock, magazine, floorplate and follower was made after the type 38.

So was wondering if the type 38 parts would fit.

Someone selling the parts 45? I would need the floorplate, follower and spring. Oh i would also happen to need a type 38 cleaning rod. I know those are hard to find.

Well, found a type 38 to try and the type floorplate and follower worked out perfectly.

Anyone have the parts they want to sell?

Or where is a good place to them? Numerich is sold out?
