I have tried to turn over every rock on the internet..to no avail..YET

I would like to restore the gun..
BUT not going to waste the time if I have no bolt.

Try Numrich. http://www.e-gunparts.com/dept.asp

This is the Marlin Model 100 list:
http://www.e-gunparts.com/productschem.asp?chrMasterModel=082Zz100 Unfortunately, they are apparently sold out of the bolt body. For whatever reason, they no longer show the Sears or J.C. Higgins model number in the list of manufacturers but the Model 100 is the right one. There are two different cocking knobs but the rest of the pieces are the same.

You might try local gun shows for either a complete rifle or somebody who sells parts. I found one at a local gun show last year and they guy wanted $165 for it. It looked beat to death. Lots of scratches, the bluing was about gone and the stock was gouged and cracked.

I have the same rifle  . My dad bought it for me as my first gun. Still works and goes to the range with me from time to time. Even looks about 90%.
