I am looking for a .270 Win barrel for a JC Higgins Model 50. Any info would be helpfull

The barrels were manufactured by High Standard. It has a chromed chamber and bore, with a sporter profile. I've never seen just a barrel for sale anywhere. Your best bet might be buying a new manufactured barrel (Midway carries about a hundred barrels that will fit the commercial Mauser 98 (which is what you have).
If you decide it's not worth it and want to sell the action and remaining parts (I'm assuming the rifle was damaged/bubba'd) I'd be interested. I collect model 50's. PM if you're interested.

it may take a while but jc higgins barrels do show up from time to time and average around $50 when they do.

I picked up the weapon cheap enough but the barrel had been cut off at 17" so needs replacing. Just thought a new one might be available somewhere.
