He may make a really cool looking guns, let's give the guy a chance. He is a perfectionist, and believes in the old ways of doing things. More hands on craftsmanship. At least wait for the guy to show us what he's got.
He created a whole new type of bike with the fat tire and custom frames, maybe he has something to offer. If you are a good builder it should carry over. If he screws up we will have plenty of chances to let him know.

His motorcycles were certainly more about style than substance. There definitely is (or was) a large market for this within the Harley crowd. Not sure how this will translate into firearms. Probably well. There seems to be an overabundance of both bikers and gun owners that are seriously distracted by shiny objects. (notice I did not use the terms "motorcyclists" or "shooters" :D)

He can be kind of an jerk, but from what I have heard he has a good product, I think they will sell..............

He is a bandwagon opportunist. He is going to make something stylish and sell it at a huge markup *cough Red Jacket.* I won't buy anything from him but the more pro 2A celebrities we have the better, so I am not complaining.

Hey, if he brings some decent press and new people into the gun owner community, he gets a pass in my book. Even if his guns end up way too expensive ;)

I am sure Arlen Ness and others were building that type of bike before James was born. In fact , much better bikes than James has ever built.

I guess the 1911 and AR15 wasn't crowded enough. I was telling my son in law the other day, "we need more 1911's and AR's designed like motorcycles".

Considering his anti semitic history, I'm hoping he fails miserably:

Oh, and he cheated on my girl Sandra, that's just unforgivable.

I notice there is no detail on the actual company website except a few paragraphs preparing us to be amazed.

From what I saw of his work on his TV show, I am not surprised the new firearms company is based on the AR-15 and 1911. The two designs with the highest availability of cheap parts that can be kitchen-tabled into a firearm that more or less functions.

My prediction is some other company already in business will "build" the guns and then paint flames on the sides. My guess is a JJ sticker on a Blackthorne product. Or maybe Century.

What? No mention of the accompanying "reality" show?

Haha, that was exactly my thought as well when I first read this the other day. I'm sure he'll build decent, overpriced guns that will sell. Not to me but he will have a market.
