Joining the fray

I moved recently to a 5 acre lot in a mountain subdivision. If I could find subsonic .22 rimfire, I'd put my CZ 455 to work on the squirrels, but no joy on that. Many of my neighbors use pellet guns, so I did a little reading and ended up ordering a RWS 34P with scope, along with 5 assorted tins of pellets. Should show up in a few days. I plan on swabbing it out, oiling with airgun oil, and running several hundred pellets through it.

Have you tried Aguila Colibri ammo? The sell Colibri and Super Colibri. Both use a 20gr bullet, but one they claim is 375fps, the Super 500. The regular ones are super ultra quiet, a whole different animal than CB or sub-sonic ammo, so quiet that I use them for shooting pests in my yard at night because an airgun would wake my neighbors. I even bought a gun specifically to shoot them. The Super are louder so I don't use them. Fyi...

Nope - haven't located any to try.

Found some on GB. Now I don't need a pellet gun, but will still enjoy it.
