Joining the Military

I apologize if this is in the wrong place.

I have been seriously considering joining the Army for the past four years. I have always had small reservations about joining and have finally decided to go talk to a recruiter this week. I have always wanted to be an 11B so that is what I am aiming for. I am one that just wants to serve, I am not joining for the benefits.

For all the Soldiers on here, if you knew what you knew now would you still join and do it all again? Also does anyone, Soldier or not have any advice to give to me?

Yeah, this isn't really the place. I do hope current and former service members will PM you advice, though.

You're also welcome to PM me. I started out as infantry, and finally transitioned over to the O side of the house.
