I set my crimp dies for medium to heavy crimp and then "adjust" the crimp with spacers to get the desired amount. I log what spacer I use. ( * Used silver .015 ring under crimp die)

where did you get these shims? great idea, lock your crimp die down and use the shims for micro adjustment

They look alot like Barrel timing shims! I ordered some! now my $15 Lee FCD is a micrometer crimp die
