So I am looking for a compensator for my mini-30. No large problems with felt recoil but as many know the mini 30 has some accuracy problems. The two largest and cheapest fixes I have seen so far both on the forums and first hand is a good bedding job and an over-sized muzzle compensator. These are the two muzzle compensators I have looked at the JP Large Profile compensator and the PRI Muzzle Brake Quiet Control 5/8"-24 . They seem almost identical but there is a $25 gap between the two. I almost want to say that the JP looks to be larger and would add more weight to the barrel to aid in accuracy but if the PRI is just as large and effective why waste the $25. Again the only reason I am really looking at the compensators to start with is for accuracy's sake. My Shooting buddy threw the JP on his rifle and his groupings with the same ammo shrank on average 1.2" at 100 yards with the exception of Remington ammo.
What do the rest of yall think. Please no yelling about it won't do squat to your accuracy blah blah, I've heard it enough from my father in-law.
