No. It's as unreasonable as saying that a politician is entitled to respect simply for the office they hold which is the point I was trying to make.
I guess some here are unquestioning believers in coincidence. I'm sure there's nothing sinister behind the fact that in King County many military ballots were mailed too late to be returned in time, or that of the precincts where there were less ballots counted than voters who voted favored Rossi, or that of the precincts where there were more counted ballots than voters who voted were in Gregoire dominated areas....
I mentioned earlier that the removal of challenge to Gregoire's power is going to make it easier to try to ram through the usual gun ban bills next year. Of course those of you applauding this action are probably of the type that don't own any of those weapons and don't see the need for civilians to own any. Similarly I would venture a guess that you are financially well established, perhaps even obtain some of your income from government contracts and could give a rip about the impact that the higher taxes and spending are going to have on those of us climbing up the ladder.
