Although our rifle session was ruined by a nazi R.O. , we had a good pistol shoot. I think there were more MA refugees than NH residents. Thanks to those who let me shoot their guns.

Heh... I was there, that was a joke, and quite funny, actually. :D

"Yo! I'm a gangstaaaaaaa!!!" bambambambam

:D

No no, there was rapid fire, and all of it accurate.

He didn't like the looks of us, or maybe he didn't like Ex-MA Hole.

In either case, he was rude, arrogant, and in our face about imagined offenses. It was enough that some of us considered asking for our money back... up until the RO at the rifle range basically said "this is bullsh-t, pack it up and leave. NOW.", we were having fun.

He even had a little group with him... basically foaming at the mouth, the whole lot.

"You have MGs! Automatic fire! Spraying bullets!" and so on. It was... shocking, to say the least, to hear those words/phrases from someone that should have knowledge on firearms.

Here is batch one of the pics.... Not too bad on size, and some nice toys in the pics... I'll leave them as thumbnails since each is 50k or so.

First one is Kingson unloading his car, showing just how many things that green monster of a car can hold. It was impressive.

Next is a pic of people having fun on the line.

Next three are all just Kingson's pistols. He had even more rifles, but due to the RO I didn't even get a chance to take pictures.

These are the last two pics for now.

One is Kingson crouched with his Calico 9mm, an interesting firearm.

The other is myself with Kingson's AR15 pistol. Now THAT is a joy to shoot.

...right up until the carry handle snapped. I still feel like it's my fault, despite everyone insisting it would've broken no matter the person firing.

Hummmm, nice picture of me "Striking a Pose" with that AR pistol. (Third picture on the first post) Damn, nice gut huh. :scrutiny: I may need a girdle to go with that training bra! ;)

He even had a little group with him... basically foaming at the mouth, the whole lot.

as for the homie-hold...

I see a TEC-9, a MAC, and an AR pistol...um...so where were the MGs? :uhoh:

Or is he just THAT stupid?

Or is he just THAT stupid?

No, he didn't notice anything at the pistol range being wrong - it was when Kingson set up the belt-fed SEMI AUTO 1919 that he popped a vein.

That, and the AR-15s, the AKs, the other black rifles, etc, sent him into Kerry Mode.

being a NH resident, I would be curious to know the RM's name, and what particular range this was at. I don't want to go somewhere where the RM is going to piss his depends at some full auto subgun fire.

That's just the thing - there weren't any MGs there. He thought there were, he THOUGHT we weren't being accurate with our fire, but that wasn't so.

Pioneer in Dunbarton, NH. Can't say for sure about the RO's name, though Ex-MA Hole may be able to.

Here are the pictures I promised...I am slightly more coherent despite working all day.
The first pic is a friend (relative?!!??) of Ex-Ma Hole...she had some great comebacks to the Range people.

The second pic is Third-Rail and Mrs. Third Rail, and Scott S.

The third pic is Ex-Ma Hole shooting Cobray M-12 with cigar in mouth.

The fourth is Mrs Third Rail once again...I don't know what she is shooting the g-friend took the pic.

Here are some pictures from the rifle part of the shoot.... This was before the Range people..shut us down.

Me admiring the fine weaponry

More fine weaponry

Last but not least "The evil semi auto 1919"...this is the little toy that caused all the problems and gave the range people a coronary.

I'm wondering if you were new to the range, hence the "regulars" may have been slightly "territorial". No strangers allowed! :barf:

The fourth is Mrs Third Rail once again...I don't know what she is shooting the g-friend took the pic.

S&W 642. :D She kept shooting 4 to COM, 1 to the head.

Oh...by the way...Third-rail...The next time we see you, we will have to flog you with a wet noodle for making the Ar-pistol cry.... or force you to shoot other guns

Look, I said I'm sorry!! :p

What more do you want?

...like it didn't upset me... third round of a loaded 30 rd magazine. That SUCKED.

Two sides to each story

The group who shot at Pioneer was comprised of 1 Pioneer Member and 10 guests. When the member arrived and indicated he had several guests, he was informed that he would be held responsible for the actions of his guests, asked if he was familiar with club rules about target placement and general gun safety (condition of longuns not in use is to be facing down range, action open, unloaded), handguns are to be similarly on the bench or holstered with empty magwell. Roundguns have empty cylinders when not in use. Every effort was made to make this group feel welcome and assist their efforts to have a safe day of shooting. I personally assisted this crew with obtaining target stands for their use and GAVE them targets from my own inventory.

The rules are clearly articulated in the club materials when a member joins. That member was accountable to be aware of those rules, to comply with them, and to make sure his guests comply.

Statements made in this thread about the Pioneer Board Member who ejected this group do not square with my eyewitness account of these events. The Board Member requested a couple members join him because he felt better being accompanied when 11 individuals with guns were violating club rules and needed to be ejected. I was proud to watch his back.

There was no frothing at the mouth by anyone, guest or member. To be fair, the host member was respectful and polite. The majority of his guests were similarly polite or quietly upset but largely respectful. Unfortunately, two of his guests behaved poorly and made belligerent remarks toward the Board Member and did not help this member's chances of retaining his membership. He will have a fair hearing before the full board.

The action that was most troublesome by this group (there were others to include target placement, leaving loaded guns on the table when people were downrange, and the handling of guns when people were downrange) was the unsighted firing of a belt fed semi-automatic weapon at a berm which if fired over, will result in the round landing in a neighborhood. The guest with this weapon was seated on a blanket with a bi-pod, not a tri-pod. The rules of the club are clear about unsighted fire. We observed this weapon being fired in this manner with rounds climbing the berm as the muzzle climbed.

Like the rules or not, this member was accountable for compliance with them and to ensure that his guests complied with them. Everyone on a firing line is accountable for safety. You are your brother's keeper (e.g. if a group member is taping or replacing targets, and someone is handling a gun, ANYONE in the group should instruct that person to refrain from handling a gun when someone is downrange).

Pioneer is a good club with an active defensive shooting program. However, incidents in the past which led to suspension of shooting activities resulted in the implementation of rules for the benefit of all, members and their guests to ensure that the club stays open.
I will not engage in debate on this manner with other THR members. I only thought that the those who are familiar with Pioneer in NH should get to hear the other side of the story.

Stay safe, know the rules of the club where you shoot, and abide by them. If you don't, expect to be ejected, likely to face a suspension or permanent ban from that club. Safety can't be compromised.
