Just a small request

Per my request our American Legion Post has acard on the way & mine will go out in Mondays mail.

The American Legion has always done their share and more in seeing to the comfort of the residents of IVH. I tell people you can't swing a dead cat on the campus without hitting a sign that reads "donated by the American Legion." If you would, please carry my heartfelt thank you and respect to your Post. From what I've seen at IVH, the Legion could be the true definition of esprit de corps.

I have 2 sons in the military, Marine Corp, and ANG, both have done tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. So I wouldn't hesitate to acknowledge the dedicated service of someone such as Paul or any other great "American Hero".

Two more cards went in the mail this morning. Hope he has a nice surprise awaiting him.

Update-

I stopped by yesterday and was told that Mr Goodman did indeed have his 100 cards and then some. The security guy kind of grinned at me and said there was some missile frigate out of Norfolk that the entire ship send a card- from the guy washing dishes to the Captain.

To those of you that decided to participate in this endeavor, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Each and every one of my TOB's at the Veteran's Home are important to me. you guys have renewed my faith that these good people and the sacrifices they have made have not been forgotten.
