Ricky, that very well may be the case....and if it is...I am truly sorry.
And you are right, I dont know dave...all I know of him is what I have read in this particular post.
"But if you're more into showing off your toys and impressing the impressionable, sorry, we don't have much for you..."
Replies such as this one from dave got my blood in a boil, in a matter of speaking. I didnt come here to impress, nor do I own firearms to impress...but my Moss 500 was bought for myself as a "fun gun" project...Something to tinker with, and put a little money into...If someone is impressed with it afterwards, then so be it...
And the fact of the matter is, almost everyone who responded to this thread HAD something for me, including a few very good tips, while Dave felt that "we don't have much for you..."
It is ok, I dotn have any hard feelings....Im sure dave is a valuable, knowledgable, and helpful member of THR, and specifically of the shotgun section. I may have caught him on a bad day, or he may have caught me on a bad one...but like I said, water under the bridge.
As of right now, I have purchased a heat shield....I have never burnt my fingers on my autoloader, but I have already felt the pain on the 500 a few times...so I got a tac star heat sheild, and that has solved that minor problem..
I have also been offered a rear pistol grip from Darrin, which I have yet to recieve, but am very thankful for in advance...This will be a nice addition, cut the length down, and make it more friendly for HD situations, which this 500 may replace my High Standard RIOT 12 as my main HD gun.
As for mods, this may very well be it....I think I may like it in its configuration once the PG gets placed...I may get a side saddle, but that isnt a priority.
One again, thanks to all of you...including dave.
