When it comes time to replace the firing pin, it is super easy to do. Although, I haven't had to do that yet.
Do you mind explaining how to replace that thing? For future reference, I usually am my own armorer when it comes to fixing my own handguns.

Look at the parts list on page 11 in the manual here - http://www.northamericanarms.com/pdfs/ownersg

With the slide off the frame, use a small punch to press the firing pin forward into the slide. While the firing pin is fully forward, remove part #4 (the firing pin retainer) by sliding it down and out of the frame. The firing pin and firing pin spring are now ready to come out. Easy breezy! :D

Note: The punch should be about half the diameter of the firing pin at the rear so that the retainer can slip over the rear of the firing pin.

I was looking at that thing (firing pin retainer) and wondering what that thing was heh. Thanks for the info!

Managed to squeeze in a wetpack test of Prvi Partizan JHP's and Magtech LRN's this morning.
None of the Prvi's expanded and penetrated a few inches less than Magtech. They also felt quite mild compared to the very snappy Magtech.
Are JHP's in this caliber worth it?
Is this gun safe to fire Buffalo Bore?

Old thread is old.
Well I shipped it back to the factory to repair all the things wrong with it.
Had to print out an entire page worth of issues for them.

They replaced EVERYTHING for free. The only thing not brand new on the gun is the frame and the barrel. Very very pleased with NAA customer service. They polished the chamber and the feed ramp for free as well. Didn't even have to pay for shipping it back to me. Since then the gun has been 100% reliable until it gets pretty dirty. Feeds anything like a champ and the magazine doesn't eject anymore.

This company takes care of their customers.

I can't keep the pinky extension mag in when I shoot. It always pops out. The flat based bottom has no issues.

I have 2mm fatter grips than OEM. It must be the combination of shooting/recoil/and pressure from my fingers that cause it to pop out.

Well today I was shooting 73 gr Fiocchi for the first time. I usually stick to 71 grain or less.

the LWS was designed for shorter h.p. ammo only because of the rimlock issue....

the .32acp is a semi rimmed round, (the .25acp is not) because of this semi rimmed round they are able to move fore and aft in the magazine and can have their rims over lap and lock up the next round. the LWS in order to make the gun as small as possible uses the shorter hollow point (only now are the winchester fmj made with a flat nose to shortern their profile (OAL).

in a gun designed for all .32acp id recommend FMJ. Hollow point ammo can shuttle around unless you use gimmicks like the "fly wire" some have incorportated for their kel-teks.

.32 ACP 71gr FMJ flat point ammunition is now also available in Federal American Eagle and CCI-Speer Lawman brands.

I've heard very good things about the Silver Tips in .32. Either those are as high-power FMJs you can find.
No need for "high-power" FMJs. They don't produce any additional wound trauma. What they do produce is unnecessary additional recoil.

There a bunch of 32 cal bullets now that easily outperform Silver Tips.

Silver Tips give very unreliable expansion and if they do expand, penetration is too shallow.

Local availability is my biggest obstacle.

I found http://www.cheaperthandirt.com has the biggest selection and lowest price even after shipping costs.

I ordered the RWS's last week and I am still waiting for them to arrive and now I see they are 73 grain as well. :( Guess I shouldn't be so cheap. :)-

Huge .32 ACP Selection

I've been reading an increasing amount of stuff that puts the Fiocchi Extrema 60-grain HP round in an encouraging light. Haven't yet gotten some to try myself, but will likely do sometime soon. For now, my .32ACP pistol is loaded with Fiocchi 73-grain "ball" ammo. I have also used the Winchester stuff pictured in post no.2, but did have one case of rimlock with it (in my gun, which is not a NAA) out of about 200 rounds. But, I can make it work well if I just pay close attention when loading the magazines.
