NAA .32 Guardian
I have spent years with many different mouseguns. I like to carry polymer, but always find myself drawn back to steel. After ridding myself of all KTs and my LCP, I was on the hunt. Tried a Couple Bersas, but they just were not small enough. Then one night, I stopped by a tiny shop just for fun. I saw the usual cheap polymer guns, but then something tiny in SS caught my eye. It was a .32 Guardian, which reminded me a lot of the hard to find Seecamp. I had used several of their mini revos in the past, but never felt comfortable with the SA cowboy style. But I knew they worked. After some fondling and haggling, I decided to give it a go.

I bought some of the heaviest loads I could find (buffalo Bore 75 grain LFPs) and proceeded to the range, where I had several FTF, and one stovepipe. I thought, being a tightly fitted all steel gun, it might need a break in and lube. Took it home and stripped it (which was a breeze). Went back to the range. This time, one mag worked and one still did not. Frustrated I called NAA, and they promised to send me a new mag in exchange.

But then I read an article about the Seecamp that stated to use either Winchester Silvertips or WWB Winchester Q4255 71 gr. FMJ JFPs. So after a thorough cleaning, oiling and some dry cycling I went to the store and picked up some Winchester JFPs, figuring I would rather have the penetration of the JFPs than the expansion of the STs. So I went back home and loaded both mags wondering if I made a mistake buying the little NAA? Is this going to be another horror story like my Taurus .22s, I wondered.

There was only one way to find out. I hand cycled one whole box through without a single hitch. To the range again. This time the little gun ran flawlessly with either mag. another Taurus type experience? NOPE! The little gun shoots straight, works perfectly fits in a pocket with ease, and is a pussycat to shoot (unlike the lighter polymer guns). With a few extra rounds and a thorough cleaning, I am totally stoked about this little mouse that roars. Though ammo selection turned out to be an important factor, it is not an issue for me. Some guns like certain ammo, and the little NAA not only looks like the Seecamp, but appears to have the same ammo preference. Next time we will try the silvertips. In the meantime I have a wonderful little pocket pistol that shoots as good as it looks.

So if any of you are tired of the polymer wonders and want a small gun you can carry and shoot comfortably, look no further than the NAA Guardian. You will be glad you did.

Does it have firing pin safety or block that allows one to carry it
with a loaded chamber, and be drop safe??

I didn't like the fact that my beretta .22 wasn't so safe to carry with
a round in the chamber.

People drop guns by accident all of the time.

Also..
I'm wondering if my High noon pocket holster for the Bobcat/tomcat would fit?

I looked at that NAA Guardian and was impressed, but I will opt for the Sig P238 instead for two reasons: (1) thumb safety, and (2) chambered for .380 auto. I originally looked at the LCP but opted against it for reason (1) above. I feel better shooting a .380 or .32, but that is just a personal preference. A thumb safety and firing pin block give me better assurance against an AD if the pistol is dropped.

Shooter, I'm glad that you found the magic combination. That's hard to do in mouseguns. I'm even more impressed that you found the SPECIFIC ammo that you were looking for. Enjoy the NAA. Its certainly a solid gun.

Odd about the ammo, Mine will shoot anything I feed it. I tested it when I bought it ( New ) by mixing various brands, lots and types of ammo , loading the magazines with out regard of the ammo type and blasting away. Never a bobble. I did have one problem with it ( my fault, I broke the part ), NAA sent a new part with out question or charge, even after I admitted breaking it, their comment " still should not have broken". BTW the new Seacamp's are supposed to feed any type of proper ammo. They were losing sales because people didn't like being told what to use, or wouldn't read or listen and were sending the guns back for repair when there was nothing wrong with them

I've had one of those for 8-9yrs. I'd hardly say that you can shoot a tiny, blow back action gun with a 15lb (?) trigger "comfortably". The (?) is there because I don't have a trigger gauge that will register high enough to measure its pull. I have *numerous* handguns and the NAA 32 acp is by FAR the most unpleasant gun that I've EVER shot in my entire life. Four other buddies have the same gun and all agree with that statement.

That out of the way, the gun does serve a purpose and the stainless is nice. It is an easy to conceal piece for when you can't carry a real gun. All five of us have switched to the KT or Ruger 380's and put the NAA 32 in the safe or sold it.

I considered an NAA, but settled on the KelTec P32... actually, I have 2 of them now. Neither of them has ever failed even once. I know they are not as classy looking as the NAA, but I got 2 of them for the price of 1 NAA.

What more can I say... I am glad you are happy with your purchase, but it wasn't for me.

I currently own the NAA Guardian in .380. Is this a range gun? No way. Does it fit comfortably in a Desantis Nemesis and disappear into your pocket? You bet.

No, it's not fun to shoot. I've got a bunch of other guns for that. But for a true reliable pocket gun, that will certainly get you out of a tight spot, this gun is one of the best.

I purchased a NAA Guardian in .32 ACP not too long ago. I needed something in size in between the NAA Mini (.22 Mag) and my other CCW guns, namely my Sig P232 (.380 ACP) and HK P2000SK (9mm), both of which I use for IWB carry.

Just shot the Guardian for the first time about a week ago and I'm very pleased. The trigger pull is rather stiff, but what do you expect from a DAO pocket gun with no safety? I went through two boxes of WWB (71 gr FMJ) and had one failure to feed at about round 60-ish. I loaded up another mag and had another FTF, but found that it was the same cartrige as before that was giving me problems. Turns out it was from bullet setback. So, other than that crappy round, my Guardian is 100% out of the box.
