This is the .17HMR and .22LR bbl combo. Haven't received shipment yet but stay tuned. Any info of scope and ammo choices?

Pics when you get it.

I saw a Lux version with the open irons and pretty wood, fantastic looking rifle. Should have bought it when I saw it. I love the idea of modularity with these guys, especially now that they started offering factory threaded barrels.

Mach1.3;

I would think that your intended use(s) will determine what scope you'll want on the gun. Pure target work at 100 yards will demand different glass than squirrels in dense woods.

I've got a CZ rimfire & can heartily recommend getting a set of Talley rings to put your scope in.

over on rimfire central they have a section dedicated to that gun, including a list of scope ring, mount, combos. The mueller apv is popular on a budget.

as far as 22lr ammo goes, federal auto match and remington cyclone do pretty well for cheap basting ammo, and wolf match target has been very accurate in mine. Remington standard velocity was a standout for performing very poorly. everything else was just kind of in the middle.

My wife gave me a CZ452 varmint in .17hmr a couple of years ago, I have Nikon Monarch scope on it. As far as ammo goes, my research has led me to believe that all the 17HMR ammo is made by Hornaday and the only difference between brands is packaging and the color on the bullet tip. My field testing of different brands leads me to believe that my research is correct.

my 455 .22LR shoots CCI Standard Velocity very well. i played with the action screw torques to tighten the groups. eventually i'd like to get it pillar-bedded.

it wears a Leupold 3-9x33 adjustable objective rimfire scope. kills squirrels just fine.
