Ben--
I have never seen that particular pictorial (post #6) with the "lube here..and here...and here" points. Trying to decide whether I should bookmark it, or ignore it. Probably the latter.

My PM9 seems to have forgiven me my ignorance, and has rewarded me with about four years of faithful carry service, digesting any and every type of ammo that fits in the magazine. My favorite is Winchester's Ranger 127 +p+, and the PM9 has no objections to that.

I added a P45 about a year later, and it (likewise) has been singularly un-finicky. My preferred round is Winchester's Ranger 230 +p, and the P45 has no problem with it either.

I treat both my Kahrs the same as I treat any other firearm, semi or revolver. A quick cleaning after a range session, wiping down all metal parts with a rag. A bit of Hoppes, CLP or whatever is handy is on the rag. No special treatment required.

I am ready to add a PM45 as soon as I find one for the right price. :)
