I need therapy, seriously. I just couldn't let this get away though as I knew if I didn't pick it up I would be kicking myself and regretting it in the future.

This is a German made, 1970, Interarms import Walther PPK/s in .380. Grips are elephant ivory. The gun is in pretty much pristine shape. Definitely going to shoot it and probably even carry it if it performs the way the european made Walthers are reputed to. However, the grips are coming off and going into the safe. Walnut replacements are on the way. I love it and think it's super sharp.

What do you think?

Congrats! Looks awesome. Is the PPK all metal? I thought it was polymer but that looks metal. Lucky you were able to find anything at all in Indiana, in central Indy theres nothing!

Beautiful PPK/s, especially love the look of the ivory grips on a blued gun. I probably would switch out the grips too if I were going to carry it on a daily basis.

My Ivory yellow out nicely over years on my PPK/S then one day grip broke. Where it was thinned for the safety/decocker . I removed them and put up . Mine now wears Buffalo Horn grips.

I still pocket carry now and then in my Don Hume pocket holster I have a IWB also

My PPK/S likes Corbon DPX

Thanks all! Yeah, I have to say it's pretty sharp.

I'm only going to switch out the grips when carrying it. They are worth a bit of money and no one sees them when I carry anyway. It's super easy to switch them out, one screw and about 30 seconds of time so it's not a big deal to change them as I like.

Thanks again. Yes, I'm really loving it. The wife totally loves it too. She thinks it's "hot". :)

Going to get it to the range this weekend and put some rounds through it and see how it shoots.

Ok, you put it out there so here goes. I'm not a fan of ivory grips unless on a Six Shooter. I'm not sure why but it is only personal opinion. I do absolutely love the PPK/S and have always been a fan of that gun. If you like them, then that is all that counts.
