Just curious how long you've been backordered with Cabelas

For those of you who have backordered and received primers and powder from cabelas recently, how long did you have to wait.

I ordered some Varget, 1000 cci primers in each size and some 55 grain .223 bullets. I've been waiting about 3 months which I was fully expecting. For those of you who have received primers and powder from Cabelas recently, how long did you have to wait. Just curious how far back on the list I am and if I have to wait another month or 6.

I have some primers on backorder (1000 sm pistol and 1000 lg rifle, see I'm not greedy). About 2 weeks so far. I waited about a week for some .35 rem brass, and it was delivered last week. I was able to get powder from Natchez. I will order some Speer bullets when the primers come in. Actually, thanks for reminding me. I may as well put that order in now, because I'm pretty sure the bullets will have to be back ordered as well. BTW, first time handloading for .357 mag and .35 rem.

I ordered 2K cci 500 and 2K winchester wsp small pistol primers on 4/17. They shipped the cci's on 8/18. I made another order on 5/6 for 1K each of - cci 500, fed 215, win wsp, win 8 1/2 wlr and they no longer even show expected shipping dates on any of those any more. They shipped the powders from those orders within a couple of weeks of when they were placed.

I really like the way Cabela's handles their backordered stuff especially how they do the HazMat stuff. I've already canceled some powder and some primers that were on those orders and may cancel some more since I have bought them somewhere else during the wait.

I like posts like this cause it kinda helps you figure out just how far back in the line you are. Well, it helps a little.
