We've had a lot of 'favorite' threads- favorite rifle, shotgun, revolver etc. Now I want to know what is your most ridiculous gun? The most silly, pointless, over the top or just plain bad firearm? The one you have absolutely no rational reason for owning... but maybe you love it anyway! Or hate it for that matter, but somehow you never get rid of it. You get to be the judge of what is 'ridiculous.'

For me it would have to be 'Thumper,' a Walker cartridge conversion in a bespoke caliber. It's big. It's heavy as hell. It's a PITA to reload for. It does nothing that another gun I own doesn't do much, much better... But I love it!

So- what's yours? Let's see some silly, pointless or otherwise ridiculous guns you own!

I bought this double barrel SxS tiny shotgun Dirrenger that shoots .410 shotshells and .45 Colt ammo. It is useless and possibly dangerous with the 410 ammo. From 10 yards when fired at a solid backer the shot bounces back and hits you! Why do I keep shooting it? I have no idea but I do lol.

BTW, if you shoot the second barrel quickly without being sure your grip on that small handle is correct you will take a chunk out of your knuckle. One guess how I know this!

:what: I have not encountered anything that I was afraid to pull the trigger on...... until now.

That is a saweet rig... but... what cartridge IS that?

.44-55 Walker- it's sort of a stretched .44 Colt. It's made from British .303 brass, and the case will hold 55 grains of FFFg black powder behind a 200gr. .451 heel-base bullet. With a conservative load of Trail Boss this gun launches a 200gr. bullet at 1150-1200fps., producing in the neighborhood of 600ft./lbs. of energy.
