While I was out cleaning up my work shop and sorting years of crap to stuff up in the attic I came across a box of old gun stuff, in the box was a bunch of old brass, cleaning rods, holsters, and other related junk. As I sifted through the box I saw my old percussion pistol. I bought the thing 20 years ago. It is a Spaish Dikar .45 cal, a kit gun that someone put together, but did a piss poor job of it. I brought it home, and completly reworked it, new finish on the wood, and some polishing of the lock, heat blueing of the screwheads and whatnot. I thought I sold it When I took the ten boxes of gun crap to the OGCA show to sell, but evedently I was mistaken. I think I might just have to take it out and shoot it. And then hang it on the wall.
