I see these things typically go for about 650 bucks , you traded a rem express and 200 cash for it? I say thats a value of about 450 in my neck of the woods, I'd say you did very well on your end, enjoy it well, the bisley helps on powerful loads, it does for anyway,

How do you ever get any work done with an office like that? I would end up loading ammo instead of doing any work lol!

When I start at the bench, I'm there for awhile. I'm depriming,, ~500 10mm cases now. Then I will work on some 7mm Mag loads. Got a deal on some 140 GR., Ballistic Silvertips (Combined Technology). I have a 1903A3 Sporter, that doesn't like ELD-X's, so going to give the Silvertips a shot. Off to the Range on Wednesday morning.

Forgot to add, I'm retired so plenty of time.

You should see my garage. Cleaning, another press for depriming rifle brass and a gunsmithing area. The wife says that reek when I come into the house. She doesn't like the smell of Hoppe's No.9. Bless her heart.

I know your heart is palpating. I can remember when I bought my first one from Gil Hebard's down in Knoxville Illinois. Extreme excitement! Those were the days.

Jo Jo,

I love watching these things play out. It wasn't that long for me.

Someone buys a first .44 Magnum and thinks it's the coolest thing.
Then, at the range, he/she fires off a few cylinders of .44 Special, and thinks "man, this really is cool".
Now comes time to light off that first .44 Magnum. Suddenly, you understand you will NEVER see "cool" the same way you did before.
At the age of 69, shooting my first .44 Magnum was the coolest thing I ever did.
For my 70th Birthday, I stepped up to a 1978 S&W 6 1/2" M29-2 "Dirty Harry" gun.
That was cooler.

The rush never stops.
