I dropped off my BHP w/ a local smith to work on the trigger. He called it basically a stage 1 trigger  Whatever that means, it came out really nice...shorter, smoother, crisper :D I really won't know until next week when I get a chance to shoot it, but it's really nice to play with!
Now tho, the only thing I'd really like to do is replace the rubber grips that came with the gun w/ a nice set...something that will complement its two-tone frame/slide...suggestions???

I just put some checkered cocobolo wood grips on one of my Hi-Powers, a FN MKIII. I got them from CDNN for 29.95 + shipping. I picked up some MacGar mags for it too so the shipping of 10 bucks spread itself out. Very nice grips.

Some assembly required.....

Unlike the 1911 (and others) with the panels having a flat inside surface, the grip panels for the HP often require some hand fitting. Otherwise, tightening the screw at the back of the panel can cause the forward edge to lift, or maybe just the corner near the trigger will lift.

Every combination of grips and gun will be different. Hope yours just fit perfect.
