hey there guys! today i got my NAA companion revolver. i must say, i LOVE this gun! it is so compact, yet it fits my hand well for being so small! the machining is so precise, the action is crisp and smooth, the trigger pull is good, there is no play of any kind. i simply love this little gun! i will be doing a test firing pretty soon, as well as keep you guys updated on my new pistol! my father is picking up some Triple 7 for me, and from what i have heard it works well in the NAA companion revolvers! so, here is how it came:
it came in a black hard plastic lockable case. the case had two padded foam inserts. the pistol is on top. the bottom one lifts up to reveal a loading tool, powder measure, fifty 30 grain bullets in a plastic bag, a padlock with keys, a nipple wrench, a nipple pick, and the instructions booklet, a catalog with all the accessories, and a few other paper items. it is a wonderful little gun and i love mine!
so tomorrow i will take her out to the woods and set up a little range and see how she shoots i wanted to see how the CCI #11 percussion caps i have fit, so i put them in the empty cylinder and tried to install it. the problem is they are too darn big, the cylinder won't go into the pistol. does anyone have any percussion cap recommendations to remedy this?
