Following are some pictures of my first Ruger GP-100 revolver-and, it came with some nice extras! I'm particularly fond of the(Long discontinued)Ruger smooth wooden grips(Made by Lett)that are virtually a duplicate of the rubber grips that come on these GP-100's! The black/silver Lett inserts were also included with this gun!:

My eyes are getting greener by the moment, that's a great looking GP. I really like the looks of those things. Nice snag on the grips, too.

Any specific plans for it? Carry duty or range toy, etc?

Let us know how you enjoy shooting it.

heck yeah, I love my gp100. if you ever run out of bullets, you can use it as a club. only problem I have is that Hogue grips get in the way of my HK speedloader

A Ruger GP 100 is my latest acquisition too. The only thing I'm wondering is why the heck I did not do this sooner! They are great revolvers.

I always liked the garish colored front sights ruger offers for the GP and Redhawks but I usually end up putting back the standard sights!

My definite choice for a duty type .357. I carried a blued on for a while.
Some euro units like the GSG-9 have been known to use the GP-100s.

They are sure hell stout for Magnum loads.

1)Well, I hope that this very first GP100 of mine, will prove out to be a good one? I believe it will though!:uhoh: :)

2)Up until buying this GP100, I had just favored my small grouping of Security-Six revolvers! However, this GP100 was so nice and, it had included the nice Hogue and Ruger wooden stocks, that this made the deal, even sweeter!:what:

3)I had somehow missed the fact that Ruger had offered the beautiful wooden stocks for the GP100's and Super Redhawk's, in the past! If I had known this, I'd have already had an GP100, long before now!:banghead:
