guns for me... not for thee... :banghead:

While Mayor Bloomberg funds a $12 milliion ad campaign to put heat on your Senators to ban private transfers, you might point out the following news story from 3 years ago:

"The mayor also takes along a police detail when he travels, flying two officers on his private plane and paying as much as $400 a night to put them up at a hotel near his house; the city pays their wages while they are there, as it does whether Mr. Bloomberg is New York or not. Guns are largely forbidden in Bermuda — even most police officers do not use them — but the mayor’s guards have special permission to carry weapons. A spokesman for the Police Department declined to comment. "

According to this 2010 article, Bloomberg practically lives in Bermuda but insists on an exception for his armed guards when he's there....

Beck is not a kook, he just uses kookie ways to deliver his dead on messages that many others will not dare to approach. If he cooled it a bit, he would make more headway but it may be too late for that by now.

Mousegun, I agree. He's right about many things, just a little over the top in his delivery. He is one of us, a gun owner and 2A advocate, and I for one respect him for his passion on 2A and other issues.

It's hard to argue that he's wrong about Bloomberg, who is no doubt a hypocrite, but is also many things far worse.

Bloomberg is a hypocrite lke most wealthy anti-gun people. It is okay for them, but not me. They're special. That is what started gun control in the US in the first place. It comes from their fear that all it takes is a $0.10 bullet and they are no more and that has no socio economic boundaries.

Bloomberg is dangerous. He is a morally obtuse, hypocritical elitist who wants to impose his will upon us. Because he craves power. Whatever engine drives him could not care less about us. We are ants to him. Guns represent power, the power to protect yourself, your loved ones, your society, and your liberty. Owning a gun is akin to saying, even on some small level, that you will wield that power personally, if necessary.

Bloomberg is able to BUY that power, because he has money, but he is unable to wield that power personally, for whatever reason. Maybe he has a phobia, who knows? But he resents those who are able, or at least willing, to wield that power personally, because it reflects his own shortcomings. So he does what he can to suppress those who can do what he cannot.

Then again, I could be way off base. But he's got issues, and he's a danger to us.

Charles I of England went to his death proclaiming ‘A sovereign and a subject are clean different things.’

All the right they promise—all the wrong they bring.

Bloomberg is a LITTLE man with a little man's attitude and with all that implies, nuff said.

Bloomberg should just buy an island (besides Manhatten, I mean), and put up a little tiny throne and just sit there with a little crown and just be happy doing that. He has enough money. Then he could just leave the rest of us alone.

bloomberg is a God in his own mind. Sick MF.

AND he is a criminal who should be in jail. He sent NY agents to my state of GA to try and make straw purchases of weapons. He lied.

And because of his $, he gets away with it.

Bloomberg does not wish to govern the people, he wishes to rule the peons. As long as we are armed, he can't rule. It's what has kept America what it is today (being an armed society) and as long as we keep these rights, we will never be ruled. People like Bloomberg can't accept that and he is trying to buy the votes to abolish guns. He is a very dangerous man. Thank God he is at an age where he doesn't have enough time to pull it off. If he was 35 instead of 70, we'd be in trouble as a country.

Oy-vay, that frosts me.

It must be nice to take your local police officers to a FOREIGN country where the police there do not carry guns and have your own police carry guns.

We do not have the right to own a gun in the US, but Bloomberg has the right to take armed NYPD to Bermuda. Nice.
