He is picking me up 2lbs of Unique and an 8lb keg of Unique also. An 8 lb Red Dot 2 cans of H-110 Some Varget 2 CFE pistol 2 RL-7 A RL 22 and some H4831 SC. I have their list of available powder and while some of the pistol powders are not on it The ones that have been tough to find were.. Maybe..just maybe the shortage is over???

I went to the gun show this weekend and was surprised to see all the powder there. Prices werent great at ~27/lb, but i spotted all the coveted powders in supply end of the day sunday. Bullseye, hp38, titegroup, w296, varget, h335, w748, autocomp, clays, be86 and many more. Didnt buy any, i have too much as it is. Should be good on powder until 2020 or so.

Plenty of shortage up here in oregon I can tell you. Unless you shoot 50bmg or black powder. Heck, we still don't have 22lr

Hey Paddy,
Cabelas in Tualatin had about twenty 1lb bottles of CFE Pistol on their shelves yesterday. They have been getting pretty regular powder shipments in.

Powder prices

These are wholesale prices or there about..Alliant shotgun 19.50 lb 8lb is 121.00 Blue Dot is a little bit higher. Reloader powders are 23 lb 5s are 104 IMR is 24 lb 8s 157 Hodgdon CFE223 380 335 414 110 HS6 21.50 and 146 for 8 VV powders are terrible at 31 and up..the other Hodgdon rifle powders are 24 and 160 for 8s..Clays(14 oz)18.50 134 for 8s..Universal a couple bucks higher.. and the clays powders as I have heard are going to be discontinued this year. These are just a few of the powders on my list but the trend on powder prices is up..Primers are up a bit too. But something we gotta have. Actually they are a bit cheaper than this time last year. I bought 150 thousand and they averaged just a nickel or so less than 30 dollars..Right now the average is about 28 per 1000 ...but that includes the Fed match primers etc. Before the big shortage primers cost me 21 per 1000 BTW these are American made primers..some others are cheaper like Wolf or Tula. Some powders are still not available but things ARE better

If those are wholesale prices, then my LGS is in the business of losing money. powder is 18 a pound and primers $27 a k.

I just ordered an eight pound jug of Red Dot from MidwayUSA. Got the 'Notify Me' alert. Had recently gotten similar alerts of some rifle powders, but I am very well set for them. Actually well set for pistol powder too, but I do like Red Dot.
Have absolutely NO use for "Flammable Dirt".... aka Unique. Had bad experiences with it in two different calibers and guns. Just doesn't work for me. The flower garden seemed to like it fine.

Pistol powder is still not readily available here in Phoenix. I have had some luck and found decent prices buying privately from individuals that over-stockpiled but it is still not on the shelves. Lots of rifle powder though.

Rifle powder up here is 32$ a pound & up. Primers $35 a thousand. No pistol powder & what 22 lr that comes in is sold before it hits the shelf for the public. I dont buy local when it is cheaper to order on line even with the hazmet fee.
