It is everything I had read it would be. It is more accurate than I am, and has run flawlessly thus far. Its even going thru my reloaded ammo, and that was my first time loading handgun ammo. Very pleased so far.

BTW: Uncle Same, if you're reading this, give me my refund!! I promise I'm not going to buy one of these with it! Really!

Just finished modifying a friends RIA M1911 model. I was very impressed with the fit, finish, and function of the gun. Only time will tell if they hold up over the long haul, but from what I've seen so far, I think they'll do alright.

I bought it off the boards hrer for 375.00 shipped. Thanks again k9stang! As soon as it quits snowing here, damn global warming, I will get out and put some serious rounds thru it and give a better report.

I think my next 1911 will have to be an RIA. I've heard too many good things about them and now I am really curious.

+1 I purchased an RIA compact off Gunbroker. $396 shipped NIB

Took it to the range last week and shot 150 230 gr fmj's without a hiccup of any kind.

Very nice, thanks for posting the pic.....

I have found with mine to be very enjoyable.

Congrats...

I just looked at some RIA GI's today...a standard, and a commander. I asked about ordering a tactical, and my local shop wanted $550.00. I told him no thanks. I can probably do better finding a FFL for an online deal.
