i cant wait to see it you guys sold me on it
I just got back from seeing the movie. It was awesome. The story kinda stalled at some points but the gratuitous close ups of the milspec 1911 saying Springfield Armory were great! I will definately have to rent it when it comes out to watch it more closely!
Does that seem like a very bright marketing strategy?
Sin City was filmed here in Austin,TX at the old Robert Mueller Airport. My Gunsmith is a also a FX guy who worked on Sin City.
I agree (although I liked Bad Boys 2 ). It seems like there are too many movies that are filmed with a marketing strategy in mind, trying to get as many people to go see the movie as possible. I can't blame movie companies for doing this, as one of the main goals of any business is to make as much money as possible. But the end product often seems to be a mediocre movie that gets butts in the seats and isn't particularly bad but doesn't really make anybody say "wow that was a great movie." A lot of peoples' favorite movies are ones that a lot of people didn't like. There is enough room for all kinds of movies. Making movies based on marketing strategy is how we wind up with movies like "Bad Boys 2" and "Speed 2".
I saw it last night. I've never seen the graphic novels, but I loved the film.I'm getting the sense that this is a movie directed at a very minute audience -- those who are familiar with and like the graphic novels of the same name.
I want to see it for two reasons. One is all the cool guns and two is all the hot chicks!!!
Who was the actress that played the blue-eyed hooker?
