Hello all, just signed up here last night and figured I'd say hi, introduce myself. I hail from arizona as you can see, and just two days ago purchased my 10th firearm(well, ok, my dad bought it since im not 18 yet).Its a parkerized '52 dated cz52 in near-unnissued condition. That gun was acctually what made me register here, I figure since I've hit ten guns now im well on my way to becoming a real gun nut, so the next logical step would be to sign up here.
Luckily I come from a very pro-gun family, so pro-gun my dad saw a good deal when a friends friend offered him a very good condition all original Colt ar-15sp1 for $400 in the early 80's. Couple other pieces in the collection include an AOW Mossberg 500c,and a colt detective special my grandpa used as his carry gun as a Suffolk County deputy sheriff, and a couple mausers(all matching Turk,no releation,and a non-matching vz-24) that I've become pretty profficient with.
My next gun purchase will hopefully be some form of 1911 or SIG-Sauer in either .45ACP,.40S&W or possibly even 357 Sig that I can use for open carry in two years when i turn 18.
That about sums it up, if anyone has any question for me I'll be more than happy to answer, since I know a 16 year old gun owner sometimes makes people nervous, especially with my kind of collection. More than one family memer or family friend has steered well clear of my room after catching sight of the big gun cabinet in the corner of my room.
