As stated above I found a gen 2 21 on GB with 3 hrs left this evening and no one had bid on it yet and the opening bid was 549 so I just won it for 549 plus shipping and taxes and fees for 651 total. I found a lonewolf 6.6in extended length threaded barrel on midway that I'll buy tomorrow after work when I deposit some money from the gunshow this weekend. I also found some kriss extensions on Gun Mag Warehouse for a steal so I'll probably pick up a 3pk from them as well as a few gen 4 13rd mags. I love the gen 2 Glocks and I love 45 Auto so this is a match made in heaven.
Let me know if there is anything else you'd want me to replace or should I just shoot the crap out of it and see how it runs?

Need a 2nd G21? I have mine (a G21SF) on consignment at the local shop for $350. It's been sitting there for months.
It's a PD trade in with worn finish.

My 1st Glock bought in 1996 was a G21 gen 1. I never shot well with it and sold it in 2002. I have / a ton of G21 mags that I kept. I picked up G30SF around 2012 and learned I shot just as poorly with that. Plus it pinched my pinky finger on every mag change. I sold it off as well.

I figured I should try another G21 and picked up this PD trade in. And yes I still shoot poorly with the G21. The grip is just too large for my hands.

I would replace all the springs in the gun and magazines with Wolff replacements, and you will have another 30 years of shooting fun with it.

Stay safe.

Good to know. I'm 90 percent sure dads gen 2 17 has original springs in it and it works great. It may have had new springs put in in the late 90s recall? I plan on shooting it hopefully this weekend if it shows up in time. I'll let y'all know how it runs! Then I'll pick up a kit for it for good measure.

Ordered this stuff tonight!

If you ever have to send your Glock back to Glock for cleaning or repair, be sure to replace the cups and any other non-OEM parts with the originals.....they replace all springs, cups etc with factory parts before returning it to you. Some of your parts may come back with it but not likely....ask how I know.

Not only that, if you send a gen 2, you get back a gen 3 or newer, so don’t do it if you pacifically want the better older generations. At least Ive heard of this happening in the past. A glock can be serviced with a single punch. Springs and other internals are cheap.

I have a gen 2 20 and a 21. The loaded chamber indicator was a recall if I remember correctly. I didn’t switch out mine and they’re still working…..

Don’t remember if the extractor channel/angle is different on the gen 3’s and newer vs the gen 2’s.

Put the extended slide stop on, and the maritime spring cups! I also put the 6.6in threaded barrel on it as well. I shot it tonight and it shot well. No pics of targets...
Got most of my brass back to reload!
