Does the offset of the scope bother you much?
Surprisingly, no. You do have to alter your hold a bit; you can either tilt the rifle or just incline your head a bit. The one thing you do have to ensure is that you have the muzzle cap removed before firing. Using the irons it is immediately apparent if it is still on. With a scope, you'll never see it. More than one guy (not me, but others have related this) has launched his muzzle cap downrange since they forgot it was on there.
