I have a chance at an all matching K31 with a fairly strong landed but dark & very lightly pitted bore, solid stock with a repaired handguard, thin finish in areas and from all indications from the owner a good, reliable shooter. No extras and nothing fancy but priced @ $ 180. Go or pass ? Thanks.

Rare to see one under 250 these days, I'd say go for it. I've never seen one that wasn't a great shooter.

Definitely buy it. Excellent, accurate rifles, easy to mount a scope on, and you will not find any cheaper than that unless someone doesn't know what they have.

I'd jump on that one. Tried to pick up a second one last month but somebody beat me to it. I'd love to keep mine original and get another one to mount a scope on. Easily one of my favorite rifles to shoot.

I'll go with everyone else. BUY IT! I picked one up from my local shop a few weeks back from a local shop for ~300$..looked great and shoots even better! K31 is my favorite milsurp rifle for sure.

$180 for a dark, pitted bore...I would have to shoot it first. You can find K31's with like new bore for under $250. If this rifle shoots good I would buy it at that price. Generally all K31's are number matched and have shinny bright bores. The wood tends to be chewed up on the end of the butt stock.

These are like potato chips, can't own just one.

geo, the K31 is a great rifle. The guys on the Swiss Rifles Message Board have a lot of great info. Good luck!
