To CW9 owners: after two months and 640 rnds the ejector is slightly loose, is this normal?
Also, I'm told by Kahr the marks on the sides of the barrel caused by the inside of the slide hitting it are normal. Mine have gotten really bad, Kahr still insists it's normal. What say you?

I dont have a cw 9 but on my p9 the ejector will wiggle a bit from side to side under slight to moderate finger pressure on the tip end , and my barrell does show scrubbing on the hood . As to if yours is normal, cant say without pics of the scrubbing . Hope that helps you .

You need to be careful about criticizing Kahr on this forum...

Why?

I've posted reports of my problems with a CWP9 and that it was eventually fixed by Kahr.

It the gun is ejecting fine I'd not worry about the ejector being "loose" or "tight" these are relative terms. OTOH if the brass is hitting you in the face, or you are getting stovepipes then there is a problem.

I can't think of any gun I've shot more than a few hundred rounds thru that didn't show wear or polish on the barrel hood area. Is peaning or rounding of the barrel slide locking engagement surfaces you need to look out for.
